Africa HR Forum 2021 kicked off to a flourishing and enlightening start on day one, 21st October 2021.
Our moderator for the Forum, Ms. Zaar Mabuto-Oladipo commenced the programme with a recap of Africa HR Forum 2020, including its objectives and outcomes, and officially acknowledging the host, the Government of Equatorial Guinea and the organizer iCUBEFARM GE SL in partnership with the African HR Confederation.
The official opening ceremony launched at 10am GMT+1 under the theme, “Reimagining talent management practices to foster workforce skills in response to the advancement in technologies and market needs”, with insightful addresses from our Keynote Speakers, the Director General of Labour of the Ministry of Labour of Equatorial Guinea, His Excellency Senor Don Angel-Francisco Ngomo Nchama, the Resident Representative of UNDP in Equatorial Guinea, Dr. Elsie Laurence-Chounoune and the President of the African HR Confederation, Mr. Areff Salauroo.
The panel sessions for day one followed and each one was hosted by our Technical Partners: Association of Elite of HR Professionals, African HR Confederation, Senegalese Association of HR Professionals and the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria. These panel sessions were led by knowledgeable leaders and industry experts who drew from their experience to share with the audience valuable information regarding talent management in this age of digital acceleration and uncertainty.
All panel sessions saw massive and lively participation from all five regions across the African continent, with hundreds of professionals attending and actively posing their questions to the Speakers who shed their wisdom.
