Classroom/Attendance Policies
There is no grade penalty for missing class, though you are still expected to regularly attend classes. Absences will result in missed content (e.g., class lecture, real world examples, peer discussion, supplemental materials, and quizzes) directly related to knowledge assessed on the certification exam which will be discussed in class only. The success of this class relies on your engagement and contribution.
Grading Policy To earn the SHRM certificate of completion, you will need to pass the final exam with a score of 70% or better.
Important note: This certification preparation class is not a substitute for the corresponding certification examinations. If you wish to take the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP examination, you must complete a secure application form found on shrmcertification.org.
