Developing Africa’s most valuable resource, its youth

The ICUBFARM Foundation investing in Africa’s youth
In recent years, unemployment has by far become the most vital problem affecting African youths. The most obvious solutions to this problem are; (1) the creation of decent formal jobs, (2) training and development of technical skills that can be easily grasped and monetized to secure self-employment and (3) the empowerment of entrepreneurs to grow SMEs and Multinational Businesses that could subsequently employ young people. Notwithstanding the action taken by Governments and NGOs in this domain, statistics show a worsening youth unemployment rate in the Sub Saharan region despite a burgeoning skilled and ambitious youth population.
The iCUBEFARM Foundation seeks to enhance the work done by the International Labour Organization and other African and non-African NGOs working in this area. Africa’s most valuable resource is its youth. The iCUBEFARM Foundation works in the most neglected parts of Africa to support young people who are in dire need of opportunities to get a job, grow a career or create or grow a business for their own benefit and that of their communities. We develop initiatives that provide ambitious individuals with relevant training and render them capable of excelling in a modern and competitive world. The iCUBEFARM Foundation provides a range of sustainable measures to enable young professionals and entrepreneurs to develop their employability and entrepreneurship skills through education and training, career development guidance, social innovation initiatives, enhancing entrepreneurship skills, apprenticeship opportunities and promoting workplace and gender equality.
Through the implementation of these sustainable initiatives, we contribute to the best fulfilment of our purpose by developing and overseeing projects that are entirely in alignment with our elemental values to benefit groups of underprivileged young people across the African Continent.
