iCUBEFARM in collaboration with the Ministries of Labor and Public Administration of Equatorial Guinea and the African HR Confederation organize a dynamic 6th session of the Africa HR Forum – HR Insights Series

In a bid to provide a more inclusive Pan-African HR platform and event, the Africa HR Forum, in the month of June, further vitalized its HR Insights Series Webinars by hosting a physical screening of the 6^th session of the Africa HR Forum HR Insights Series Webinar in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea. The physical screening, which was held at the ICUBEFARM office in Malabo, was attended by EG HR professionals and practitioners, HR Directors and representatives of the Government.

This novel and highly animated HR Insights Series session took place on Friday 18^th June 2021 at 15:00 GMT+1 and was led by the eminent Dr. Maureen Tong, who is a lawyer, an executive coach, trainer, facilitator and published author. She holds a PhD in international law from the Université de Strasbourg in France and has authored several academic publications on topics ranging from human rights & international law to health legislations.

During the 6^th session of the HR Insights Series, Dr. Tong discussed the topic Coaching for Personal Mastery and in doing so explored self-mastery, the different types of coaching, the importance of coaching for HR Practitioners and the significance of coaching during times of uncertainty.

The session was a highly interactive one, with members of the virtual and physical audience actively participating by asking questions related to the topic. Furthermore, data collected from the participants’ survey was solid proof of the importance of such a platform for HR practitioners and leaders not only in EG, but the rest of Africa, to unite and share practical knowledge and experiences which can be applied for better HR practice in their respective professional milieus.
