The Africa HR Forum – HR Insights Series 2022, hosted by the Institute of People Management and organized by the Ministries of Labor and Public Administration of Equatorial Guinea and ICUBEFARM in collaboration with the African HR Confederation

As we all are aware, the COVID-19 pandemic changed our outlook on many aspects of the world of work: it brought about many changes-some positive and some negative- to which we all had to adapt. After almost two years living with the pandemic, we take stock of lessons learned in order to chart a sustainable path forward. Join us this month for a dynamic session, the first HR Insights Series of the year 2022, as we explore a very pertinent topic “Key Lessons Learned In Living And Doing Work During A Pandemic – What Has Shifted?”.
The Africa HR Forum HR Insights Series 2022 boasts a new and exciting format whereby, the Africa HR Forum technical partners will host a session each during the course of the year. The 2022 series launches on Friday 21st January 2022 from 15h to 16h GMT+1. The Speaker for IPM’s session is Nametsegang Maruping, who is Group Executive of Human Capital at Altron Group. Her experience spans global organisations operating in industries such as FMCG, retail, financial services, defence and ICT. She leads a team of human capital leaders and practitioners across the Altron Group and the various countries to ensure synergy as they create an enabling environment for the company to attain its vision. Nametsegang describes herself as an advisor and enabler who thrives on co-creating and embedding organisational culture, crafting country and context relevant policies, and frameworks that guide and align human capital practices towards the organisation’s strategic objectives. She holds an MBA from the Gordon Institute of Business Science, and a BA degree majoring in Industrial Psychology and Industrial Sociology from the University of Witwatersrand. In addition, she also has several leadership, functional and project management certifications. The moderator for the session will be Dr. Jerry Gule, CEO of the Institute of People Management.
The Africa HR Forum HR Insights Series, which is organized in collaboration with the Ministries of Labor and Public Administration of Equatorial Guinea and the African HR Confederation (AHRC), is scheduled for every third Friday of each month and is designed to provoke creative thinking, anticipation, and proactive planning among HR practitioners, leaders and People Management professionals so that they are always ahead of the curve and are proactive in anticipating the next required step in their strategic and operational roles in 2022 and beyond.
